Bedford Centre Ticketless Parking

The system uses advanced License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, ensuring a quick, seamless, and secure parking process – without the need for physical tickets.

By removing tickets from the process, Bedford Centre aims to reduce waste and eliminate the risk of lost or swapped tickets. The LPR technology will ensure accurate entry and exit tracking, improving overall safety.

Here’s what you need to know:

• No more tickets.
• LPR cameras will automatically scan your vehicle’s licence plate upon arrival, allowing for quick entry without any delays.

Please Note: There are cameras at the front and back of each entrance and exit, which allow us to capture motorcycle license plate numbers as well.

There are two ways to pay for parking:

• Tap your bank card at the exit boom.
• Visit the Pay Station with your vehicle license plate number and pay with cash or card.

Woolworths and Pick n Pay Free validated parking

Free validated parking from Woolworths and Pick n Pay will remain active using their barcode and QR code till slips.

How to pay with the till slips:

• Take your till slip with the barcode printed on it to the Pay Station, and enter your vehicle licence plate number.
• Then scan the barcode or QR code on the till slip and proceed to the exit boom (booms will open up automatically).

Planet Fitness Members

Customers at Planet fitness will enter their licence plate number on a tablet at the gym and proceed to the exit booms for their free parking.

If you exceeded the 90 minute free parking, you’ll need to re-enter your vehicle licence plate number at the pay station to complete your payment.
